I logged on my live spcae the other day, and found my space suddenly got a lot of comment spams. I hate spams, but I didn't have a way to delete them quickly. Windows Live Space has batch delete, and a recent comments view, but the two are not combined. That is, I cannot batch delete the most recent comments. What I had to do was to open two tabs in web browser. One went to the blog module which had a “summary” view.  Comments were grouped by blog entry on this page. The other tab went to

 http://lifeih.home.services.spaces.live.com/. On the right side under “Comments on your space”, it listed most recent comments. I used the most-recent-comments view to find out the spams, and used the summary page to locate and delete those spams. It was a pain!

Finally, my friendly MS colleagues taught me a trick. Go to the mobile space http://lifeih.mobile.spaces.live.com/. After login, it shows most recent comments, and there is a "delete comment" button below every comment. Although it is not batch operation, it is quick to delete all spams one by one without the need to locate them :-).

Leavenworth is a lovely small Bavarian town. We only stayed there for one night at a cozy cabin. We went to biking, horseback riding and wine tasting. It was a pity that we did not have enough time for photography.
